David Munley

David Munley is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in academia, church leadership, and business. He holds a B.A. from Zion Bible Institute (now Northpoint Bible College & Seminary), an M.A. from AGTS, and is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Bethel University. David’s diverse background includes serving as Dean of Students and Dean of Enrollment at Northpoint Bible College and holding leadership roles in the church and business sectors.

He has a proven track record of success, including growing a staffing company’s revenue from $3,000/week to over $100,000/week and overseeing multiple branches with revenues exceeding $15 million. David is passionate about developing leaders and has mentored individuals in various contexts.

When not teaching or leading, he enjoys running, roasting coffee, and spending time with his family, including his wife of 30 years, Jennifer, their three adult children, and four grandchildren.

The seeds of Leadership Thresholds were planted during a chapel service at Zion Bible Institute, where David felt called of God to ‘teach my people.’ Inspired by this encounter, David pursued leadership development, eventually teaching emergent theories to resonate with emerging leaders.

Today, Leadership Thresholds is a Kingdom Ministry focused on awakening and encouraging leaders to their kingdom contribution. Our three-step leadership pathway—Discover, Develop, Deploy—equips leaders in various settings beyond the college campus. We welcome partnerships with Bible-believing organizations.

In Their Own Words

Instagram quote

I am a better person because of things he taught me in my years when I was lost, finding my way and going through a dark time in my life. A time that was filled with stress, disappointment, anxiety, death, and almost hitting rock bottom. He gave me a great job and taught me how to be a leader. It is because of him I have had a wonderful career for the last 20 years.
